Whole Foods on a Rainy Day

Hello everyone. It's currently 10 AM since we sprung ahead, which I like by the way, except for the fact that the mornings will be dark again.

It's rainy and below 50 degrees outside, but I boosted the morning by heading to Whole Foods. I have come to love grocery shopping, especially at Whole Foods, but I refuse to go during the busy times (after 10 or 11 on weekends or after work). It's crowded, the lines are long, and I feel a lot of pressure to get my stuff and get out! The checkout lady noted how chipper I was this morning, but then she also called me "hun" a few times, which I DESPISE unless you are a close friend or family member. If you are a stranger reading this blog, please don't call me "hun." And heaven forbid you call me Rach. DON'T CALL ME RACH, EVER!!

Ok, enough of that. Back to food. I stocked UP. I got loads of fresh fruit and veggies (including a pineapple, my favorite fruit, a mango, and more spaghetti squash!!). I think I'm going to make my roommate, Alice, try some spaghetti squash this time. She didn't really like the parsnip fries so I've got to get back on her good side. :)

Check these out:

Katie recently had a contest on her blog for a sample box of these chips. I was heartbroken to find out that I had not won, but this morning at Whole Foods I walked down the chip aisle and saw that they had the motherload of Food Should Taste Good chips. I can't wait to dive into a bag. It's a little too early and I just had breakfast, so maybe at lunchtime.

AND

Goji berries! I've read a lot about them lately and I've wanted to try them, and what better way is there to try a new food when it is covered with chocolate?

Bikram @ 2 pm. Have a nice day!
